Our Story - The Mose Era

In April 2024, longtime Sanford native Jamie Mose and his wife Corinna Mose proudly became the new owners of Sanford Lake Bar & Grill — marking the first change in ownership in more than 36 years. After decades of stewardship from Richard and Sharlyn Corbat, the Mose family is honored to carry forward a local tradition that’s been part of the community since the 1950s.
For generations, the building at 3770 North Bailey Road has been home to laughter, music, and memories. It’s been known by many names — Francis Grove Tavern, Safari House, Schoenherr’s Grove, Putter’s Landing — but one thing has never changed: it’s always been a place where locals gather, stories are shared, and good times are guaranteed..
